Puerto Vallarta International Airport is set for a landmark winter season in 2025-2026, as traveler interest reaches unprecedented levels. Recent data from Grupo Aeroportuario del PacĂfico shows a significant increase in available seats, with November offering 814,138, a 6.8% rise from the previous year. December will peak with 928,102 seats and 2,550 flights scheduled, marking a 10% increase compared to last December.
The momentum continues into January 2026, projected at 866,310 seats, and February at 740,996, with increases of 6% and 7% respectively, indicating a sustained interest in the region. The total flight operations for the season are expected to reach 11,946, a 15% increase from 2024-2025, demonstrating strong growth in both domestic (23% increase) and international travel (10% increase).
With March and April schedules still in development, the airport is already on track to surpass last season’s total of 3,107,374 seats, highlighting a positive outlook for the local economy and confirming that this growth trend is likely to continue throughout the winter months.
