Hola Amigos! Dear Favio & our friends at Vallarta Shores, Yes, our flight was relatively painless, although the culture shock when we arrived home was a bit startling. We had a very good time staying with you during our vacation in Mexico. We look forward to seeing you again sometime. You help make our 25th wedding anniversary a most pleasantly memorable experience.

Hola Favio, First of all, I want to thank you and your staff for making our stay at your property an enjoyable one. Everyone at your hotel, from the maids to the people at the front desk were warm and friendly and made us feel completely at home. Our condo could not have been nicer. It was without question the best place we have ever stayed in Puerto Vallarta. Antonio and I both agree that we will stay at the Vallarta Shores during our future visits to Puerto Vallarta. All of our friends in the wedding party who we brought to the Vallarta Shores loved it as well and will probably stay there in the future. Again, thank you for a wonderful vacation. We’ll see you the next time we visit Puerto Vallarta

Our recent stay at Vallarta Shores was nothing less than superb, from the initial welcoming by Daniel to our last night’s stay. Unit #3 is very comfortable and charming, with great ocean views of the bay and easy beach access, every amenity one could need on vacation either provided in the room or just steps away

My husband and I, and our four year old daughter just spent one week at Vallarta Shores and had a delightful time. The suites are perfect–spacious and clean and beautifully decorated in authentic Mexican style. As another review stated–if you want more of a cookie-cutter hotel, try one of the big resorts. If you want a true local hotel, this is the place for you. The staff were lovely, and very accommodating in terms of when they cleaned our rooms, etc. We sat on the balcony each day, enjoying the beautiful ocean view and watching the people on the beach, and eating our meals. This is the section of the beach where Mexican tourists and locals come, so it feels less like an intense tourist destination than farther north along the beach (where the gigantic cruise ships disembark 2-3 days a week and thousands of tourists swarm the streets). It was a short walk to the old town, and we went there daily to eat, or to get take out and eat at home (too many restaurant dinners are hard on a four year old). Having the kitchen in our suite made it possible for us to have more of a home feel while we were there. The staff helped us out with finding the stores we needed during our time there, and got us transport to/from the airport with a childseat included (very hard to find in Mexico but something I was unwilling to go without and so they made it happen in both directions–for which I was very grateful). We will definitely return to Vallarta Shores, especially since now we know more what to expect and how to enjoy our stay there. Not having to use a car was great for us, just a few block walk into the old town with shops and tons of restaurants made it easy to plan our days and not stress about getting around. We don’t like the all-inclusive resorts, its just not our style, and this was a wonderful alternative. Small, charming, clean and in a great location. We can’t say enough good things about this delightful hotel! Thanks to Jorge, Ruben, Anna, and all the staff for this wonderful spot

My husband and I have been staying at this boutique hotel every time we can take a relaxing beach vacation – once or twice a year since 2011. We made a trip in COVID-19 times, June 1-June 17 2020, and we felt safe because we knew that the staff were taking the steps necessary to keep us and themselves safe. Everyone is required to sanitize their hands upon entry and wear a mask in the premises; staff wears masks at all times, and face shields when in rooms. We love everything about this place but most of all we love that they loooove our dogs. Our doggies feel like they go to their second home when they arrive at Vallarta Shores. This is a true dog friendly place, and our dogs love it. Dogs are always on a leash and be well behaved, of course. The location is wonderful, it’s tucked at the end of playa de los muertos, which makes it a short 15min walk to the malecon; amapas beach just over the hill about 10min walk/hike and a 10min walk to downtown. Plenty of eateries in the area: El Dorado, La Palapa, Panchos Tacos, Kaiser, Mole de Jovita are 5min walk way. Beach clubs: El Dorado, La Palapa are 5min walk, Mantamar is 2min walk. The staff is AMAZING! Competent and super friendly. Fortunately, they know they have the best staff as they have – fortunately – retained them; we’ve known them for almost 10 years. In the last few years we’ve seen a lot of wonderful upgrades, new pool, wall-to-wall sliding doors in every room, railing rooms changed to clear tempered glass that enhances the amazing view, updated furniture, etc. We always stay in a one bedroom apartment #3 or #4. It’s a very comfortable one bedroom with a great view from every room, a full kitchen, living room and dining room. Rooms are cleaned daily. They offer additional services: chef, massage therapist and cosmetologist – Sandy, whom I highly recommend. I had not made a review in all these years because I wanted the place all to myself, in the past few years we’ve had to book a year in advance, but I now realize that sharing is caring. So if you are looking for a place to stay in PV, this is the place.

This was our 3rd stay at VS. We love the location and that we can be in the middle of everything in a 10 minute walk or stay out the fray and hang out. Great staff!! Rosie and Daniel are awesome and the housekeeping staff keeps everything spotless. We’ve booked for next year and tacking on a few more days.

We have now stayed at this property several times and we love it!! Right on the beach great staff and wonderful rooms I don’t have anything bad to say about Vallarta Shores!
